Functionality: you will not notice very much change in performance or in vocal quality from the original EURO 12-button phone (KPDCS-12B) that complemented the DCS, Compact, Compact-II, DCS408, DCS816, DCS-ViP, iDCS100 or iDCS500 keysystems. The KPDCS-12B was the most popular seller before the days of IP-communications. Introduced into the UK market in 1996 the KPDCS-12B and 24-button KPDCS-24B the clear LCD display shows WHO is calling you and WHY – that’s DDI and CLI displayed one above the other – and if they are frequent callers, it’ll be as an alpha label instead of just numbers – this enables you to greet the caller appropriately.

This is common on all the desk-based terminals: KPDCS-12B KPDCS24B, DS2100B, DS5007S, DS5014S, DS5038S, DS5014D, DS5021D, SMT-i3100, SMT-i3105, SMTi-5210, SMTi-5220, SMTi-5230 and SMTi-5243. The SMT-i3000 and SMT-i5000 ranges are pure IP-phones that link into your firm’s LAN or your Internet router at home, so it can act as a Home Extension of the office.
